> Roarke Menzies

Roarke Menzies is a New York City-based artist and composer who uses his voice, mouth and body as sound sources, along with audio hardware, software and field recordings, to create electronic and electroacoustic works. His music has been described by The New Yorker as "a layered electronic throb, coming and going, always enhancing but never overpowering." Menzies's work has been presented at Material Art Fair in Mexico City, Spring/Break Art Show in New York, Diapason Gallery for Sound and Intermedia, and the New West Electronic Arts & Music Organization's NWEAMO Festival. His music has also been presented on WNYU Bentwave FM and BBC Radio 3, where he was included in the series “New Year New Music - exploring iconic masterpieces, avant-garde experiments and the next generation of talent.”

> Imaginary Tricks

Imaginary Tricks is the solo project of singer and multi-instrumentalist Mike Visser. With Imaginary Tricks, Visser crafts intricately layered songs and soundscapes using guitar, bass, vocals and a series of audio pedals. Visser has played and recorded with several bands over the years, including Frank Jordan, Pass Kontrol, Springs and SK Kakraba.

> The Despot

The Despot is a Toronto based artist and curator. His music is largely improvised and based on the capture, evolution and degradation of sounds. He recently gave his live debut at Toronto's Casual Drones series in February, and in January he organized CHANNEL, a five night AV installation event which featured experimental musicians performing new live soundtracks to projected video content.

> Breanna Barbara

Breanna Barbara is a guitarist and singer of a particularly muddy, lo-fi take on the electric blues. Her forthcoming album was produced and recorded by Andrija Tokic (Alabama Shakes, Hurray for the Riff Raff).

> O Paradiso (DJ set)

O Paradiso was formed in 2013 by Jacob Bills and Darryl Specht (former members of Asa Ransom, Death of Fashion). They've shared stages with Maria Minerva, Light Asylum, Excepter, Young Magic and Psychic Twin. Stereogum writes: “The jerky, abnormal percussion got the audience interest[ed], and the best moments were when they balance a certain creepiness with their sweet melodies. I’ll be keeping an eye on them.”
